Joey Bosa is featured in SI's MMQB talking about the cleats he will wear against the Browns this week. Great read if you have the time. A few highlights from the article.
His name was Sean. He was in for the second time, to fight his cancer. It was good seeing him, but it was horrible to see him here again.
We just started talking again. He’s a big Notre Dame football fan. We were about to play Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl, so of course we did some trash-talking. I told him I was going to beat up on his Irish. He told me how bad they were going to beat us. I think on that visit, I basically spent almost all my time with him. It was a great conversation.
I found myself thinking about him a lot. He educated me on a lot of things about cancer. He told me, “Did you know that out of all the money raised for cancer research, only four percent goes to pediatric cancer?’ That just shocked me.
Not only is Joey showing unbelievable talent as a player this year, he seems to be doing the same as a person. Anytime a child is sick, it really breaks my heart. Glad to see Joey trying to get the word out on pediatric cancer research.
When you see these cleats on display destroying the Browns on Sunday, I hope it brings a smile to your face (even if you are a Browns fan like myself).
Well done Mr. Bosa!
