One of 3 Buckeyes taken by the Rochester Knighthawks, Jake Withers managed to be named "Grinder of the week" (which is a thing, apparently) for his efforts last weekend against Calgary. He won 18 of 22 faceoffs (Rochester had him at 19/22 in their recap), and put in a good shift defensively to help the Knighthawks to a 17-6 win.

For context, last year the Knighthawks struggled offensively to get anything positive, so this is a strong start. No stats for the other two Byckeyes taken.
