Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I watched Sammy wrestle Gomez last night. Sammy looked great through 2 periods and I don't even know how to describe what happened to him the first 30 seconds of the third period. 3 takedowns in 30 seconds. I live 20 minutes from Nazareth and I watch a lot of wrestling. I went to Wyoming Seminary so I think I have a high wrestling IQ. I love Sammy. I love him because he's a local boy and a Buckeye. I know Gomez is next level and beat Yanni the other day so I'm not saying Sammy lost to just anyone. Sammy had the match under some control. He gave up 6 in the final period and lost 9 to 8.

I wonder if Sammy should go up to 157. Yanni and Gomez at 149 make 149 as tough a weight as possible. In my opinion, it's the toughest weight in all of college wrestling this year. I've heard Sammy is having a hard time cutting weight. It's understandable. What are your thoughts?
