Ohio State blows out Indiana, 38-15. Now, it's time to do the same to That Team Up North.
Could Columbus support a NFL franchise? Sure, this is peak offseason talk. The 614 is somewhat split per NFL loyalties per the Browns, Bengals and Steelers. Personally, I think there are more Browns fans in the 614. Back in 1987/88, the St. Louis Cardinals were exploring a move. Columbus mayor Buck Rinehart pitched bringing the Cardinals to Columbus. They ended up moving to Phoenix and are now the Arizona Cardinals. The NFL HQ was originally on High Street and was run by Columbusite Joe Carr for many years. OSU football rules here… But, Columbus is one of the largest cities (13th) without a NFL team. Hypothetically, per your OSU fandom, how excited are you per the unlikely possibility of Columbus having a pro football team? If so, what would you name them?
