Men's soccer defeats the scarlet knights
After a rocky start to the season, the men's soccer team is off to a good start in conference play. The defending Big Ten champions took a loss to Penn State earlier in the week but came back to defeat Rutgers 3-1 this weekend. Nate Kohl, Austin Bergstrom, and Abdi Mohamed racked up three goals for the Buckeyes in the victory over Rutgers.
The Buckeyes got off to a quick start, scoring two goals in the first half. Kohl scored first for Ohio State off of an assist from senior forward Danny Jensen. Bergstrom then converted a penalty kick to put Ohio State up 2-0 going into half-time. Mohamed then scored one more goal for the Buckeyes to secure the 3-1 victory.
