Times and television channels for Ohio State's nationally televised basketball games for the 2016-17 season were announced Wednesday afternoon. The Buckeyes will be heavily featured on ESPN, ESPN2 and CBS.
Ohio State's first nationally televised game will be Wednesday, Nov. 30 when it travels to play Virginia as part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The Buckeyes hosted the Cavaliers in the same event last season.
Ohio State also has nationally televised non-conference games against UCLA and UNC-Asheville. Key non-conference matchups against Providence and UConn, as well as a number of others prior to Big Ten play, will be televised on Big Ten Network.
When conference play hits, the Buckeyes will play Purdue, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan and Indiana on national television while the rest of the league games will be televised on BTN.
