Ohio State met the challenge of its first test of the 2016 season in style, pasting Oklahoma in their own house, 45–24.
Following the game, quarterbacks coach Tim Beck presented J.T. Barrett with the game ball for performance. Barrett finished with 152 yards and four touchdowns through the air and 74 yards on the ground to pace the Buckeyes.
