Minnesota has hired Denver Bronco's tight end coach Tim Brewster as their football coach, replacing the fired Glen Mason. Brewster has been in the NFL since 2002, but before that was Mack Brown's recruiting coordinator at North Carolina before moving on to Texas with Brown in 1998. The Gophers could be taking quick advantage of his recruiting skills as Brewster's son, Clint, is a stud prep quarterback ($) who has already verballed to Illinois, but will probably be "reevaluating" his decision.
Fans in Minnesota aren't really sure who the guy is, so if you're asking yourself who Tim Brewster is, don't feel too bad. We're just disappointed that Minnesota didn't go with a guy that would bring some good drama to town.
