Well Championship Week has come and gone and it's Bowl Season. The final 11W rankings for the BlogPoll are below, and we'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments section about the MNC rematch, as well as some of the other bowls taking place over the next month. Have at it folks!
| MSU should tell LSU just how tough it is to beat a team twice in one season. The Spartans, who took down Wisconsin earlier in the year, fell just short in the B1G Title Game and thus got booted from the BCS. At 10-3 and with a head to head win over Michigan, I think Sparty deserved the Sugar Bowl spot, but money talks and instead Mark Dantonio's team plays in the Outback Bowl against SEC East Champ, Georgia. | 1
| As we said, money talks, and the Sugar Bowl took idle 10-2 Michigan over Legends Division champ, Michigan State. The Wolverines return to the BCS for the first time since the 2006 season and will take on the Hokies of Virginia Tech. | 4
| Robert Griffin III helped Baylor finish at 9-3 with a win over Texas. The Bears earned a birth to the Valero Alamo Bowl, where they will face Washington. | 4
| Georgia started the game off with a bang, jumping on top of LSU 10-0, but they didn't have enough gas in the tank. The Bulldogs go to the Outback Bowl in what should be a good game against MSU. | 5
| Oklahoma had a chance to salvage a disappointing season, but choked in their game against Oklahoma State. The Sooners fall to the Insight Bowl against Iowa. | 7
| Clemson clearly shut things down after clinching their division in the ACC, because they looked like the Tigers of old in a 38-10 drumming of Va Tech in the ACC Championship Game. Clemson clinched a birth in the Orange Bowl where they will take on West Virginia. | 4
| Virginia Tech pulled a move of all moves. After getting drilled in the ACC Title Game, Frank Beamer's team still got into the BCS, where they will play Michigan in the Sugar Bowl. | 14
| TCU finished the year at 10-2 overall and 7-0 in the MWC, but it wasn't enough for an at-large bid. The Horned Frogs go to the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl where they will play Louisiana Tech. | 1
| At 9-3 Nebraska ends up doing well, earning the best non-BCS bowl the Big Ten has to offer. The Cornhuskers play South Carolina in the Capital One Bowl on January 2. | 1
| USM pulled an upset for the ages, taking down Houston in Houston 49-28 in the Conference USA Championship. The Golden Eagles go to the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl, where they will face Nevada. | 3
| Houston had a colossal choke of a BCS birth in their loss to USM. The Cougars now go to the TicketCity Bowl where they face a disheveled Penn State team. | 16
| West Virginia got the job done, beating USF 30-27 to earn a share of the Big East title. By having the highest BCS ranking, the Mountaineers earned a bid to the BCS and will play Clemson in the Orange Bowl. | --
| Penn State got the shaft. At 9-3 they were passed up by the Insight Bowl (took 7-5 Iowa) and the Gator Bowl (took 6-6 OSU), and instead go to the TicketCity Bowl to face Case Keenum and Houston. | 2
| FSU won't have to travel far in playing Notre Dame in the Champs Sports Bowl in Orlando. With a trip within driving distance, expect about 75% FSU fans in the Citrus Bowl, despite Notre Dame's track record for traveling well. | --
| Cincinnati beat UConn 35-27 to finish the year 9-3 and claim a share in the Big East title. They will not be going to the BCS, though, and will be making the trip to Memphis for the AutoZone Liberty Bowl against Vanderbilt. | --
