Let's be honest. Even though tonight serves as the last bit of Thursday night college football until next September (/sheds tear), we'd probably pass on running an open thread for Rutgers-Louisville, even if it will determine the Big East champion and a likely BCS bowl berth.
That changed last Tuesday when Jim Delany welcomed the Scarlet Knights as the Big Ten's 14th member program. Now, instead of this just being a run-of-the-mill game between two unranked Big East programs, it's your first real opportunity to absorb some of that fine Rutgers football tradition. Oh, with Louisville heading to the ACC, this game will also serve as the de facto rubber match for the ACC-Big Ten Challenge, which ended in a 6-6 tie.
So... let's go Rutgers? (Did we mention that Rutgers is the only original Big East school that's never won that league in football?)
