Bossier City (LA) Parkway signal-caller Brandon Harris committed to LSU today during a live chat on ESPN.com. Harris chose the Tigers over Auburn and Ohio State.
Harris' commitment puts an end to the speculation that Ohio State could take two quarterbacks in this class after receiving a verbal commitment from Stephen Collier last month. The dual threat quarterback did tell Elevenwarriors that Ohio State was still recruiting him and he was strongly considering the Buckeyes after Collier's commitment, but the pull of the home state Tigers proved to be too strong.
LSU picks up their quarterback just days after Auburn landed Elite 11 quarterback Sean White. Harris is the 14th commitment for LSU.
