I don't watch much MMA but that seems like good, compact form to me. Also, an upper-cut is a much better sucker punch to throw in a football game due to the helmets.
After last night's game Dabo Swinney called this a "poor decision." You don't say. (Regardless, it's the best uppercut I've seen since this.)
