The Buckeyes improved to 10-0 with another win this week, but as usual they were less than satisfied with merely winning. The general consensus among the team was that they did not play up to their normal level, though Coach Tom Herman wanted to make a point about enjoying the wins. He mentioned that while at Rice, there came a point where "winning was a relief", and Herman promised himself "to never take a win for granted... because wins are really, really hard... and [they] should be enjoyed for the short amount of time you can enjoy [them]."

Kenny Guiton discussed his future, possibly in the NFL but more likely as a graduate assistant at Ohio State next year. When asked about being the next offensive coordinator at Ohio State some time, a completely serious Kenny responded: "hopefully."

Guiton and Christian Bryant both talked about the emotions surrounding senior day next week, when asked about starting next week, Kenny let out a big laugh. Bryant is still hopeful that he hasn't played his last game as a Buckeye, saying that playing in the bowl game is "still up in the air" and receiving a medical redshirt may still be a possibility.

Linsley and Jack Mewhort talked about the offense and Carlos Hyde. Mewhort recalled Hyde running into his back in the Nebraska game two years ago, saying that Hyde broke two of his ribs. Linsley had a similar experience in practice this year, getting whacked in the back of the shoulder as Carlos flew past him in a no-pads practice. Both agreed that based on their experiences, they can't imagine defenders wanting anything to do with Carlos.
