The interest is abuzz today with rumors of a possible de-commitment from the No. 1 running back in the 2015 class, Damien Harris. The Kentucky product is listed as a "solid verbal" to Michigan by Rivals, but Harris hasn't helped put down the rumors by staying silent on the matter, even after a visit by new Michigan OC Doug Nussmeier.
Today, however, his recruitment appeared to take a twist in a way that would have been impossible only 7-8 years ago: It was discovered his most two recent follows on Twitter are OSU assistant coaches Stan Drayton and Tim Hinton.
UPDATE (11:03 AM): Damien Harris has officially decommitted from Michigan, and it must be assumed Ohio State is in hot pursuit.
UPDATE (11:56 AM): Oh, boy; Michigan fans: STEP AWAY FROM THE KEYBOARD.
Just spoke with Damien Harris' coach, he had a message he was adamant that I tweet to Michigan fans.

"People need to back off of [Damien]. People are attacking him and the fans better ease up or they're going to push him away from Michigan."

Harris' coach said the only impact a fan can have on a prospect's recruitment is a negative one. Apparently Michigan fans have been nasty.
