Caleb Downs scores Ohio State’s first punt return touchdown since 2014.
A week after cheating death and running through the B1G Tournament, Michigan entered the Big Dance as a No. 7 and is now headed to the Sweet Sixteen after dumping No. 2 seed Louisville, 73-69, Saturday afternoon in Indianapolis.
Michigan now awaits the winner of (11) Rhode Island and (3) Oregon for a trip to the Elite Eight.
I admit it, I thought all the attention paid to Michigan as the sleeper or the tourney might do them an injustice after capturing the B1G tourney but led by 26 points from Moe Wagner and the continued steady on court leadership of Derrick Walton Jr., this team is playing its best at the right time.
How in the hell did Ohio State beat this squad?
Hats off, reluctantly, to John Beilein and company.
