Last week, ESPN reported the FBI possessed recordings of a wiretapped conversation in which Arizona coach Seam Miller arranged for a $100,000 payment to secure the services of then-five-star recruit Deandre Ayton.
Despite sitting out against Oregon, Miller doubled down on his innocence Thursday afternoon and said he'll return to the team.

Miller: "I have never knowingly violated NCAA rules while serving as head coach of this great program." Says he has never paid or directed payment to a recruit or his family.

This of course means that $100,000 recording does not exist or Miller (and his lawyers) are confident that tape will never see a courtroom.
