Kevin Sumlin's Swagcopter may already be junked for pieces, but one of his former highly-recruited QBs is on the move (again).
Kyler Murray, a five-star 2015 QB who left Texas A&M two weeks ago, is transferring to Oklahoma.
From scout.com:
"We're very happy to welcome Kyler to our program, and we look forward to working with him," said OU coach Bob Stoops in a statement Thursday afternoon.
Murray started three games for the Aggies this season and played in eight games. He completed 72 of 121 passes for 686 yards with five touchdowns and seven interceptions. He also rushed for 335 yards, averaging more than six yards per carry.
Once Murray announced his intention to transfer from Texas A&M less than two weeks ago, it was clear the Sooners were going to be in the running. Murray developed a great relationship with the Sooners and Stoops during the recruiting process before ultimately deciding to stick with the Aggies.
Not a bad get for Ol' Bob Stoops.
