Nick Saban will have his revenge, even if he must wait eight years to do so.
It was confirmed by Al.com today that Alabama will face Louisiana-Monroe in 2015. The Warhawks, you may recall, are the team that stunned Alabama 21-14 in Nick Saban's first year as Tide coach in 2007.
It must be assumed an at least six-figure payday was secured by the UL-Monroe athletic department in order to rubber-stamp this ritualistic ass-kicking, but I'm still salty they're allowing Nick Saban a chance to even the score.
(If you don't think Nick Saban would have been haunted to his grave by his 0-1 record to Louisiana-Monroe, you're kidding yourself.)
Alabama is set to open the 2015 season in a date with Wisconsin in Jerry Jones' monstrosity in Arlington, Texas.
