UPDATE (1:45 PM): Gary Patterson says he did not mean to abridge the Big Ten's honor:

Bashing the Big Ten is quite vogue these days, and while "Texas Christian University" and "vogue" may have never been used in the same sentence, TCU's Gary Patterson is here to solve that:
Patterson asked about his offense's progress: "I have no idea. We played Samford and then played a Big Ten team."

Samford, for the record, is an FCS team, and Patterson's Horned Frogs rolled the Golden Gophers of Minnesota up in a rug on Saturday, 30-7. (Minnesota can probably thank E. Gordon Gee for the hiding.)
So, this is where we're at as a conference. We're getting clowned by the head coach of Texas Christian.
Save us, Woody Hayes.
