Ever since I was a sophomore with bangs at the University of Montana and Jerry Kill brought the Salukis of Southern Illinois out west, I've been a fan of Jerry Kill.
I haven't heard much of the Salukis since Jerry Kill departed, but it appears his old program is poised to throw a massive heaping of salt into the open wounds of the Big Ten conference:
Southern Illinois is ranked No. 13 in FCS. Salukis will give Purdue all it can handle.

Purdue already had its teeth knocked down its throat by Central Michigan. (Although, to be fair, CMU's running back Thomas Rawls is allegedly quite the purse-snatcher.)
The Salukis are 3-0 and have outscored opponents 133-44.
Is Purdue better than the 13th best FCS team? I guess we'll find out on Saturday.
