The corpse of Joe Paterno no doubt approves of this.
It appears Penn State's removed the names from the backs of players' jerseys. It's a Paterno-era tradition that was scrapped, because hey, 1975 was a long time ago.
Is this only for their game against Northwestern (noon, BTN), or a more permanent thing? As of right now, it's unclear.
