UPDATE (3:25 p.m.): It's happening:
Michigan players leaving facility now. Some wiping away tears
— Nick Baumgardner (@nickbaumgardner) December 2, 2014
As first reported by Scout's Sam Webb, Michigan has relieved Brady Hoke of his head coaching duties. Michigan's team is getting the news right now.
Hoke came to Michigan and started out strong, going 11-2 in his first year including a victory over Ohio State. But Michigan has regressed every year, and the Wolverines stumbled to a 5-7 finish. Michigan was 31-20 in his tenure.
So, happy trails, Brady Hoke, like Rich Rodriguez before you: May you go onto better things.
