Somebody better tell four-star running back (and Pitt committ) Darrin Hall the bad news: Wisconsin is set to announce Paul Chryst as its head football coach tonight at 7 p.m.
Warren G. Harding willing, Chryst, who was the offensive coordinator under Bert Bielema, will be a carbon copy of the mealy-mouthed troll lord he used to toil under during his previous stint in Madison.
Paul Chryst might not be the villain the Big Ten deserves, but hopefully, he will be the villain the league has needed since Bert fled to the Arkansas Ozarks to live among his ancestral hillpeople.
I'm going to need something to come out of this hire, Wisconsin, because unless Michigan plucks Jim Harbaugh from the NFL heavens, Houston will have outhired every school in the Big Ten.
