Penn State Edges Boston College in Overtime, Wins Pinstripe Bowl

After being barred from the postseason the last two years, Penn State slipped by Boston College in overtime to win the Pinstripe Bowl Saturday.

For the last two seasons, Penn State's season has ended after 12 games regardless of how it played throughout the year. 

On Saturday, the Nittany Lions, which had NCAA sanctions barring them from the postseason lifted earlier this season, beat Boston College in the Pinstripe Bowl in New York. The win is the first for the program since winning the Capital One Bowl in 2010. 

For what it's worth, Penn State took Ohio State to double overtime in State College before ultimately losing, 31-24, in late October.
