Alabama's Media Day is today, and while Nick Saban gave an affable interview, the best media appearance was delivered by former five-star recruit and current Alabama freshman linebacker Rashaan Evans.
Evans acknowledged it was a business trip, but in the end his favorite thing about New Orleans was "living it up on Bourbon street." ESPN's Kaylee Hartung offered Rashaan Evans a chance to polish his words, and Rashaan — Warren G. Harding bless him — blew right through that opportunity:
Judging by the incredulous laughter of his teammates that followed... we may not be seeing Evans in front of a microphone for awhile.
And while Rashaan might rue this decision, I hope he knows he gained a fan in Ohio, which I'm sure will be quite the consolation prize when he's running the SuperDome's steps at 4:30 a.m. tomorrow morning.
