Because football is 24/7/365 competition, I wish nothing but bad things on the SEC as an athletic conference. Today, college sports' most diabolical conference announced the official minting of its newest Sith Lord, a man who used to go by the name Greg Sankey when he served as Slive's underling. Early reports indicated this Sith will be the same as the last Sith in that he'll continue the conference's one-sport quest for dominance and piles of undertaxed cash.
And with the SEC and Big Ten poised to outpace its rivals in television revenue in the coming years, we'll see who wins this cash race before the cable television industry goes kaboom.
