Not that Ohio State needs help drawing people to its spring game, but I thought this was a cool idea:
O'Leary said he plans to ask other coaches from the state if they would be interested in replacing the spring game with a scrimmage and donate proceeds from the event to charity.
"I'd much rather see the competition level improve that way. Where you can make a true evaluation of where you're at and give the money to charity," O'Leary said Saturday via the Associated Press. "You're not going to game plan things. You just go out and execute, take the kicking game out of it and I think it would be a lot more fun. At least you'd get a lot more interest in the spring games."
You know what? They should just make it a full-out game. It's not like anybody in America is about to complain about extra football.
