A day after the Outback Bowl runner-up deposited an interesting theory about the SEC schedule wearing out SEC teams before the playoffs, Baylor's Art Briles is back with another theory as to why his team got left out of the playoffs.
Speaking today while making his "ESPN carwash" rounds:
Art Briles: If Baylor or TCU had an older brand name, one of us would have got in the @CFBPlayoff
— Brett McMurphy (@McMurphyESPN) July 22, 2015
Baylor was established in 1845, TCU in 1873, and Ohio State in 1870.
So, how long does it take one to build a #brand? Asking for a whiny man down in Texas.
