It's bad to get cited for a crime, but the worst thing you can do (other than getting re-arrested before your court date) is to compound that mistake by skipping court altogether.

It's a lesson Florida WR Alvin Bailey is about to learn.

From Thomas Goldkamp of 247Sports.com:

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Florida redshirt sophomore receiver Alvin Bailey is currently in the Hillsborough County Jail after being arrested Saturday afternoon after a warrant for his arrest was issued for failing to appear in court.

According to Hillsborough County Jail records, Bailey remains in custody as of 8:15 p.m. on $5,000 bond. He was arrested at 3:38 p.m. and booked at 5:07 p.m.

Bailey was cited for unknowingly driving with a suspended license on May 8, 2014 in Hillsborough County, according to Alachua County court records. He was subsequently cited for driving a vehicle with a suspended license on May 4, 2015 in Hillsborough County, a second-degree misdemeanor.

When is Urban Meyer going to get this renegade program under control?
