Monday night during the Virginia Tech game, the 11W staff chat lit up with accusations that Hokie RB J.C. Coleman was wearing a gold watch during the game.
"Surely, that's some sort of forearm sleeve with a watch graphic printed onto it," I reasoned. "Surely there are rules against a guy wearing a metal watch on the football field."
Upon further analysis: That's apparently not the case; it was a dang watch, and something that Coleman had planned since the preseason:
#Hokies top RB JC Coleman has worn a black G Shock watch during preseason & plans to have it on in games. "I just feel like it's my time."

In the end, Coleman's time certainly didn't come against the Buckeyes. The senior running back finished the night with 43 yards on 12 carries, with a long of nine.
