Is there a more American thing to do than gamble real money on amateur athletics? Sure, but not many.
Some degenerates have taken this a step too far, however, and are openly wagering real life money on Rutgers to cover the 14-point spread against hapless Kansas.
From ESPN:
Rutgers at Kansas (-14, 64), noon: MGM vice president Jay Rood: "Rutgers is getting all the early action from the sharps so far and the outlook is bleak to get much offsetting action on Kansas."
Let's hope Lil Johnny's college fund isn't hitched to the dying star that is Rutgers football.
