Michigan State was No. 2 in the country before struggling at home against Purdue. It's still in the driver's seat of the 2015 season — and the season is still young — but early returns show the Spartans' second-half play is lagging.
It could be as simple as taking the foot off the gas pedal, or it could be something deeper. Either way, it should be an interesting trend to track as we draw ever so closer to Michigan State's trip to Columbus.
