Undefeated Iowa didn't need to play Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, or Penn State to become 11-0 or climb to the nation's No. 3 ranking.
But here they are, and with a big weekend at rival(!?) Nebraska on tap Saturday, the Iowa Hawkeyes were awarded a regional Sports Illustrated cover.
R.I.P. to Undefeated Iowa. Though largely built on smoke and mirrors, it will die as 2015's most entertaining meme.
