Kansas State is currently 4-6, and 1-6 in Big 12 play. Bill Snyder, the coach we've all come to know and love, turned 76 last month.
It'd be reasonable to speculate that this could be the end of the road for an iconic career — look what losing did to Steve Spurrier, after all — but it looks like Snyder isn't ready to hang it up just yet.
From footballscoop.com:
According to those that we spoke with, Snyder believes that as long as he’s making an impact in the lives of his players and staff, and the team is responding to his leadership, he wants to continue coaching.
We've seen Kansas State without Bill Snyder, so we know the Wildcats are better off with him at the helm but so is college football.
Snyder is 190-100-1 as a head coach.
