As he prepares his team for a showdown with No. 1 Clemson in the ACC Championship Game, at least North Carolina Head Coach Larry Fedora won't have to worry about job security. ESPN's Joe Schad reports that UNC and Fedora have agreed to a seven-year contract extension.
Fedora is 32-18 in four seasons with the Tar Heels, after moving over from Southern Mississippi. North Carolina is 11-1 this season and faces the Clemson Tigers tonight in a game that could have huge ramifications in the College Football Playoff.
With one less thing to worry about, maybe Fedora can get his team to pull off the upset and help Ohio State out.
