Tom Herman has had an enjoyable 2015. In addition to helping Ohio State win the 2014 national championship, Herman became a head coach, recently signed a very lucrative five-year extension, and led Houston to the 2015 American Athletic Conference Championship. His Cougars beat Temple, 24-13 today in Houston, locking a spot in the New Year's Six bowls as the top Group of Five team.
Herman led Houston to a 12-1 record (7-1 in the AAC). Now he leads his team into a big bowl game. Some projections have Houston in the Peach Bowl, but it's possible the Cougars could face Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl if the Buckeyes aren't in the Rose Bowl or the College Football Playoff.
