Even though Punt Punyan may have cost Ohio State a shot at Big Ten and national titles, I argue it still remains great if only for the immortal image of a Michigan Man watching his hopes and dreams go down in flames.
According to a fan vote held for ESPN's College Football Awards, Punt Bunyan was the top play of the regular season.
There could only be one man to present the award to the Spartans.

SAGINAW, MI — Michigan State's dramatic football victory over the University of Michigan on Oct. 17 was cemented into the annals of sports history when it won "best play of the season" during ESPN's College Football Awards show.
And who better to present the award to MSU Coach Mark Dantonio than the student who became the face of the Wolverines' loss.
Chris Baldwin's hands-on-head reaction as U-M punter Blake O'Neill fumbled the ball into the hands of MSU defensive back Jalen Watts-Jackson, who returned it 38 yards for the game-winning touchdown, was caught on video by an ESPN cameraman.
Dantonio accepted the award Thursday on behalf of MSU DB Jalen Watts-Jackson, who suffered a season-ending hip injury while celebrating the return.
