Ohio State blows out Indiana, 38-15. Now, it's time to do the same to That Team Up North.
If Houston is going to have any chance of retaining Tom Herman's services for the 2017 season, it's going to have to show commitment to excellence.
And by that I mean it must open its checkbook. It did so Thursday night when university regents voted to move forward on plans for a $20 million indoor football facility.
From chron.com:
The 80,000-square foot facility, to be built adjacent to TDECU Stadium, will include a 120-yard synthetic field and football-only sports performance area.
"This is the next piece of the puzzle for our football program to give them the assistance they need to compete and recruit on a national level," UH vice president of intercollegiate athletics Hunter Yurachek said during his presentation to regents.
One thing is for sure: Even if Herman leaves, he will do so leaving the Coogs better than when he found them.
