Former Missouri quarterback Maty Mauk, who may have spent more time suspended than on the active roster, graduated last weekend. This means he could've transferred and played immediately at any Football Bowl Subdivision school, but he's instead taking his talents to Richmond, Kentucky to play for the Football Championship Subdivision's Eastern Kentucky.
From columbiatribune.com:
Mauk has signed an athletic grant-in-aid agreement with Eastern Kentucky, an EKU team spokesman confirmed Friday. Mauk will be eligible to play immediately for the Colonels and has one year of eligibility remaining.
Looks like Mauk will try to resurrect his career following the Noah Spence blueprint.
