After a banner first day of Big 12 Media Days, which included headlines about its shitty conference championship trophy and Mike Gundy's baby mullet, it'd be rational to think it couldn't get worse for the conference.
That was before Baylor interim coach and kindly old man Jim Grobe took the podium in Dallas.
Baylor coach Jim Grobe: "We don't have a culture of bad behavior at Baylor University."
— Max Olson (@max_olson) July 19, 2016
Grobe: I would guess most universities are having some of the same issues we had at Baylor. Uh, no Jim.

And for posterity, here is the full quote courtesy of ESPN reporter Jake Trotter:
Sure, nobody should expect Grobe to produce a sword and drive it into his gut out of shame. But there is a lot of middle ground between throwing "most" American universities under the bus and seppukku.
Grobe should aim for that next time.
