Former Alabama linebacker Rueben Foster got into a kerfuffle with a hospital worker at the combine, and the NFL promptly told him to pack his bags.
Foster has been on damage control since then. Wednesday, Nick Saban defended his former player by saying his staff never had a problem with Foster.
He closed with the rhetorical question asking teams if they wanted a linebacker or a "candy striper" who was nice to people at the hospital.
