Notre Dame finished 4-8 in 2016, which is probably four more games than the Irish deserved to win.
Unfortunately Brian Kelly's team returns in 2017 with a renovated stadium. Somebody in South Bend, however, keeps setting dumpsters outside Notre Dame Stadium on fire.
Hopefully this is only a sign of things to come for Irish football.

Notre Dame starts its 2017 season on Sept. 7 when it hosts the Temple Owls.
