A huge blow out of College Park, as it's been confirmed University of Maryland starting quarterback Tyrrell Pigrome tore his ACL Saturday at Texas, and will miss the rest of the season. Maryland also loses 2016 sack leader Jesse Aniebonam for an extended period of time, as he fractured his ankle during the game as well.

Before going down with the injury, Pigrome went 9-of-12 through the air for 175 yards and two passing touchdowns, while gaining another touchdown and 64 more yards on the ground on 11 rushes. Aniebonam had two tackles before his injury.

In the game, Maryland upset former Ohio State offensive coordinator Tom Herman and Texas 51-41 in Herman's debut as the Longhorn's head coach.

Maryland will come to Ohio Stadium without two of their key players Oct. 7 at 3:30 p.m.
