Mike Leach is America's favorite football coach that never seems to talk about football. And why should he? Tales of tracking potentially rabid rodents holds more interest than those of schematic adjustments needed to beat Washington.
From Spokesman Review reporter Theo Lawson:
"I tracked a raccoon one time in the snow,” Leach replied. “I was in a neighborhood and I was just curious where this raccoon lived, you know.”
Leach claims he went half a mile "just to sort it out," which is certainly one way to spend an afternoon.
