Michigan fans will have to wait four more months for their first public look at the 2018 Wolverines as the university cancelled its April 14 spring game due to potentially looming thunder storms.
"We want to ensure the safety of our fans as well as the student-athletes and staff," said athletic director Warde Manuel said in a release. "We also wanted to provide as much notice in advance for fans and the families of our players that were considering attending."
The game will not be rescheduled. Michigan joins Wisconsin, who cancelled its April 14 spring game on Tuesday.
Ohio State's spring game, scheduled that same afternoon, currently calls for all-day rain with winds topping at 13 mph by noon.
