Competition comes naturally to former Alabama defensive pack Minkah Fitzpatrick, who should be one of the top-10 picks of the 2018 NFL Draft. That's why UCF claiming a 2017 national championship made him angry.
UCF and Alabama never met on the field, but according to Fitzpatrick, it would have been all bad news for the Knights.
From seccountry.com:
“Man, we would have whooped up on them boys. It wouldn’t have been close.”
When asked to predict what a score between Alabama and UCF might have looked like, Fitzpatrick said the result would have been a massive rout.
“Man, I’ll say, ’50-plus to 10-minus,'” he said.
Maybe he's right. But Alabama also thought that way when it met Ohio State in the 2015 Sugar Bowl and look how that turned out.
Sadly, this argument belongs to the ages.
