UCF To Wear Space-Themed Uniforms For Thursday Night's Game Against Temple

The University of Central Florida opened in 1963 as Florida Technological University, with the goal of supporting United States space program at the nearby Kennedy Space Center.

UCF is throwing it back next week with special space-themed uniforms featuring constellation patterns and cymbals representing UCF, a "Canaveral Blue" number outline that represents the colors of the sky and ocean off Cape Canaveral, and for the first time ever, the Citronaut mascot on football uniforms.
