There's something beautiful about Michigan losing in back-to-back weeks, but it's even more beautiful when one of those losses comes to a team that hasn't beaten the Wolverines in over 30 years.
For the first time since 1987, Indiana beat Michigan, and the Hoosiers did so in spectacular fashion. Indiana dominated in almost every statistical category and made Jim Harbaugh's defense look like it was made out of marshmallow fluff as Hoosiers quarterback Michael Penix Jr. threw for a career-high 342 yards and three touchdowns..
The Hoosiers held Michigan to 13 rushing yards on 18 attempts on the game while forcing two interceptions. The Wolverines had only 17 first downs throughout the entire game and was called for eight penalties for 89 yards.
With the loss, Michigan falls to just 1-2 on the season before playing Wisconsin, Penn State and Ohio State. Meanwhile, Indiana improves to 3-0 and will likely be the highest-ranked team the Buckeyes face this season.
