After losing his job on Michigan's coaching staff, Ed Warinner is headed to Florida Atlantic.
Warinner is expected to join Willie Taggart's staff in Boca Raton as the run game coordinator and tackles/tight ends coach, Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman reported Saturday.

Warinner was Michigan's offensive line coach for the last three years, but was not retained for Jim Harbaugh's 2021 staff. Michigan replaced Warinner by making Sherrone Moore its offensive line coach and co-offensive coordinator while moving Jay Harbaugh to take Moore's place as tight ends coach. A pair of former Michigan players were added to the offensive coaching staff this offseason, as Mike Hart was named running backs coach while Ron Bellamy was named wide receivers coach, replacing Warinner and Ben McDaniels, whose quarterbacks coach duties have now been assumed by Jim Harbaugh.
Now headed to Conference USA, Warinner had spent the last 18 years coaching at Power 5 programs, including a five-year stint as Ohio State's offensive line coach and later its offensive coordinator from 2012-16. Warinner's tenure with the Buckeyes ended after the Buckeyes were shut out 31-0 by Clemson in the 2016 College Football Playoff semifinals.
