It appears there rumors were true for once. The East Lansing Police Department arrested United States National Team and Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green on Sunday for open-hand slapping Michigan State defensive back Jermain Edmondson.
Apparently the beef started because Green did not recognize Edmondson, who continued to berate Green at multiple stops throughout the night.
Green's lawyer maintains his client's innocence. If convicted, Green faces a $500 fine and 90 days in the clink.
